Yogyakarta, known colloquially as Jogja, is a treasure trove of culture and history. It is home to Keraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat (the Palace of the Sultan of Yogyakarta) – or Keraton for short, the magnificent Borobudur temple, and the awe-inspiring Prambanan temple complex. Dubbed the City of Students, many people from all corners of Indonesia flock into Yogyakarta to pursue higher education. And where there are lots of students, there’s surely plenty of cheap, good eats.

Super friendly staff. We stayed there 3 nights. Our air conditioning was broken, so we were upgraded to the VIP room.
Friendly and helpful staffs, clean and fairly tidy room, and good internet access.
